This is introduction of chain for OPP.
I add helpful URL but most of all websites or movies are by Japanese. So I'm going to write simply explanation of chain features.

Death Tower - デスタワー
Death tower is a kind of power chains. First, there is L-shaped base as "hook". Then puyo is put on base to be linked by ignition.
Short chain time make so fast lethal amount. But there is some weak point: for example, death tower is sometimes poor at resistance to garbage, even for a few or single garbage.
Flexisibility of tower is got by converting of other chain policy but top players of death tower hardly convert.

Chihaya Style - 千早式
Chihaya style is mainly five chains or four-double chains by putting puyo left side to right.
The strong points of this style are for example, shorting from five chain to four-double, and able to select ignition point (dichromatic ignition).

Hell Fire - ヘルファイア
Hell fire is a kind of power chains. It looks simple shape.
It is easy to make a power chain like this picture. But it is poor at flexicibility. Strong hell fire requires to rearrange chains.

Central Style - 中央不定形
Central style is as its name suggests, chains start from center (3rd, 4th column).
It has many various way of converting chains. For example, a chain of this picture has for-double from yellow and red, and also there is five chain from purple. This is difficult to explain by writing. To see is to believe.

Yatuhasi style is a bottom-up death tower mainly. and its initial sets are very unique.
Bottom-up tower has large posibilities of converting chain.
