Secundus tower

f:id:phoernian:20201007214518p:plain

Secundus tower is this form. L-shaped base ignition point is at bottom step.

So it has weak registant for opponent's jab, and 1,2 colomn is dead for tower.

When tower is close to complete linking, you may select secundus tower to use each puyos in one set.

But, particularly early tower, selecting secundus is weak moving.

So when is secundus tower is useful? That is when tower is close to going bankrupt.

EXAMPLE

Pattern A: set on 3rd column (red is upper)

Pattern B: set on 3rd column (Purple is upper)

Pattern A seems to be primis tower.

First, purple is separated. it means that many purples are required but linking bonus is dead. And purple at 3rd column disturbs to link yellow.

Second, There is no spase to put red. Red is seems to be set by 5th column, you need purple puyos before setting red at 4th column. of course green and yellow is required before purple is set. There is some problems.

Let's see Pattern B.

It seems that problems are still unsoluved compared with pattern A.

Yeah, simple secundus tower is useally weak.

This form is element of front extension.

Purple in 3rd chain is still difficult to add into chains, but others problem is solved.

Secundus tower is strong when it is converted to three power chain(front extension).

If 5th column is higher than 4th column, and tower is near to go bankrupt, let's add front extension.

secundus tower is weak compared with other tower forms, but it is strong compared with broken tower.

Extension tower has so many pattern of converting chain, but it is beyond tower style.

Basically you should set up only extension power chain.

Recently I am researching extension tower. If I get much knowledge about it, I add article about arranged pattern of extension chain maybe.
